This diet came in the early seventies, when the hippie philosophy and rebels were in vogue, and the world had turned its gaze to the East

The basis for this is the pineapple diet (grapefruit), which is combined with other foods. Its recommended duration is one week, but can weaken it. The weight loss is approximately two to three kilos.

This diet is contraindicated for people with diabetes or urinary tract infections. Has the drawback that due to its low calorie, you can not extend over more than seven days and given the weight lost is easily recovered, because the decrease occurs in mostly water loss.

However, in its favor is the fact that it is an ideal diet for people who are disorderly or capricious in its power. It is also rich in vitamin C, which has great benefits for the body.

The Diet consists of fruits for three days eating only pineapple (grapefruit), either fruit or juice, and the remaining four days, the option is combined with a varied diet, including meat, fish, eggs and salad, cooked with minimal fat. Sugar, alcohol and carbonated beverages or soft drinks are completely prohibited.
